Confession time…

There was a season in my life where I thought nothing of dropping £19.99+ on chocolate because I told myself I deserved it if I was stressed or had a bad day at work. But when I was first invited to purchase a Training that would help me start a business for a similar price, my negative mindset would kick in and the cynical chatter in my head got loud.

I desperately wanted to own my own business, but an entrepreneurial lifestyle was so alien to my upbringing and environment that I couldn’t even see amazing opportunities when they were right in front of me.

In hindsight, I was “drifting” — just like Napoleon Hill describes in my favorite book, Outwitting the Devil. Drifters never see the benefit in an opportunity. Instead, they dismiss it, they blame others for their lack of success, and sometimes even get jealous of people who are achieving their dreams. And the truth is, that’s the Devil’s plan: keep you distracted, stuck, and blind to the very doors that could set you free.

That was me — until 2010, when I had an epiphany.

Despite reading millions of words in personal development books, my life was literally in the toilet. Then the book The Secret landed in my lap, and I had a major lightbulb moment. That’s also when Bob Proctor came into my awareness.

I really resonated with Bob, and it was the first time I heard the term “Multiple Streams of Income.” He said it was the secret of most successful people, and those words never left me. Suddenly, when opportunities started to present themselves, I was more open.

Here’s what I realised later: opportunities are always around us. But it’s our mindset that determines whether we see them as opportunities — or dismiss them like I used to.

Every time we say YES to ourselves, we send out a different frequency. The Universe doesn’t hear “£19.99.” It hears: “I’m worthy. I’m ready. I’m open to more.”

Instead of seeing it as spending, I started to see it as investing. “Wow, what a return on investment that is!”

“£19.99? On me? On my future?!” OMG YES please!!

That chocolate was gone in 19.99 seconds. But when I saw the opportunity to invest that same amount in a starter pack full of beautiful samples and a dream business opportunity, I thought: “Sign me up!”
Worst-case scenario? I had a gorgeous box of beauty samples, maximum discounts on the full-size products, and insider info about all the best deals.

But in reality, the starter pack gave me so much more:

✨ A ready-made website (bye-bye, tech headaches)
✨ A training system most people pay thousands for
✨ A community that clapped for me before I even believed in myself
✨ Gorgeous free gifts just for showing up (that outweighed the initial investment)

The chocolate gave me a sugar rush. The starter pack raised my vibration.

And here’s the kicker: the Universe is always matching your energy. If you treat your dream like it’s worth a £19.99 takeaway curry 🍛 … that’s the kind of dream you’ll attract. But if you invest in yourself with even the tiniest commitment, you call in something bigger.

Your Freedom Empire doesn’t start with “Perfect.” It starts with a decision. And that decision could literally be £19.99.

So think about it: what things are you spending money on right now that you tell yourself you “can’t live without”… but in truth, are just masking a void? Chocolate. A G&T after work. That weekend takeaway. What pain are they trying to numb?

Don’t get me wrong — I’m still all for a bit of chocolate and a takeaway (alcohol clouds my creativity, so that’s a no-no for me personally, but hey, that’s my choice). The difference now is, I’m so excited about my life and love it so much that those things are no longer a crutch. I literally Wake UP Happy because I’m building something that creates joy and freedom.

And that’s why I’m on a mission: to help as many women as possible Wake UP Happy, doing what they love, building brands from their passions, creating multiple streams of income, and securing Financial Freedom on their terms. So not only can they Wake UP Happy now — they can retire happy later, without fear, without limits, and with plenty of fun.
