"The person you came to serve is you 5 years ago"

Last week I wrote about "YOU" being Your Brand

This week I am here to tell You.

You are never too old and it is never too late !! And the older You are, the better because the more You have to serve the world with, you gained skilled and expertise.

The title of this weeks Newsletter is "The Person You Came to Serve is You 5 Years Ago"

I heard this phrase again the other day and it inspired this weeks News Letter

In all honesty I don't often know what I am going to write about but these days I don't feel any pressure.

I trust the Inspiration will come when I least expect it

I have never been great with time bound deadlines but I am at an age now that I can see the pattern and I am ok with it and trust it which interestingly enough (for me) is similar to the person who I heard this phrase from but it is not the first time I have heard it and I have also heard him say when he is giving a presentation he can still be writing his notes and building his slides just before the presentation

In some cases literally in the room and they also said in earlier days people would say we need your slides say for example, 12 weeks out but these days his assistant says "Ahh, Yeah that's not going to happen"

And I love that.

We are all creative beings and we are always, always evolving. Or I hope we are? We should be. We will be if we invest in interesting outlets like blogs, newsletters, podcasts, books, youtube videos, presentations online and in person etc that stimulate our minds around the subjects that interest us and then as a bi-product if we are suitably Passionate about a subject we can become an Expert by default

And then we can pass that knowledge and expertise to someone who also loves the Subject but is where we were 3, 5, 10 years ago

How did we learn the skills we have either professional or Passion, interest based?

From someone already Expert in the field

Someone who has gone before and learned the skills we needed or wanted to learn

That part sounds pretty basic

We have all probably had a new job with New Job Training

Goodness me !! When I look back on my career and see this skills I know today I could have never fathomed them possible at 17

But have we ever stopped to analyse the skills we have gained over the years and what we are capable of now?

And more importantly how we can transmute that knowledge and impart that to others .... for a fee?

A couple weeks ago I also wrote a Newsletter stating don't make other people rich 🤑

I was going to say funnily but it is not funny. I am currently seeing someone doing just that.

They are full of creativity and good ideas and they are imparting those ideas to their company for that companies benefit and they are looking burned out on the back of their efforts

Have you done that? Given your "ALL" for little reward? And more to the point. Are You Currently doing it?

If so it would be my greatest desire to inspire you to look at the gifts, talents and expertise you have that can be funnelled and channelled it to something far more fulfilling and beneficial for yourself

The way my own life has gone in the last few years I have sat back at times and thought "Oh, Ok. I get it now. I had to go through that. Have that job to gain that skill, that knowledge, that qualification to be able to carry out that activity in my personal life and be able to do what I am doing now"

There were no accidents. Even though I could have never imagined I would be doing what I am doing now or be passionate about the things I am and love now all those things I mention above make sense to me now. Even the ones I tried to avoid but the Universe gave me no choice.

They all had a purpose for the bigger picture even though some of those paths were extremely painful

And I am sure Your path has led you down some extremely painful pathways and those can be the most transformative but are you utilising them?

This edition may seem a bit more abrupt than usual but one of my main motivators today is Intelligent, Creative Woman who wrote themselves off before they even started even though they expressed a strong desire to do something different ....

Do something they loved ....

And we are living in the best time in History to that ...

The playing field has never been leveller, despite what some might say

Anyone can start an Online Business based around a subject they love easier and faster and cheaper. Heck for free even.

Multiple woman used to come in to my Brick n Mortar business and I mean multiple. Saying I was so lucky doing what I loved and loving what I did and how they would like the same but when I offered suggestions on how they could do that the majority almost immediately gave me their "False Beliefs" of why they couldn't

Time and Money being two and age being the other. Despite most of them being younger than me.

In truth I was already working on building my own Online Business in 'Tiny Pockets of Time' despite having a Brick n Mortar Business that now required me to work far longer hours than I ever did in an employed job (living the dream)

And at one point when Covid dramatically effected footfall and income I even took a full-time job on top of the business to keep it going that required me to start at 5 am then when my other colleagues finished for the day and were complaining how tired they were I would go to my business and work until 5/6pm or whatever time orders required then work on social media and returning messages, packing boxes for delivery etc and fall into bed around 10pm to wake at 3:50am and on our Saturday off I sat in my BnM serving customers and creating orders to start all over again at 5am on the Sunday Morning

And I had a rule never to work on my Online Business while my partner was around because I didn't want our relationship to suffer and then grab whatever time I could to work on my Passion Project to build Online Courses but working on my dream energised me and kept me going

Because .....

Despite wanting to be my own boss for as long as I could remember. The reality of having a Brick n Mortar business brought home to me that there are different types of businesses and some are just never going to give you Location, Time and Financial Freedom

They are going to keep you landlocked. Running on a proverbial hamster wheel for little financial reward for all your efforts but an Online Business could give you that Location and Time, Freedom

I touched on briefly I had, initially a vision of creating Online Courses which I envisioned selling on a website that could be accessed and purchased 24/7 and I then, had a very specific subject in mind based on my then gained skills and expertise gained by my Passion for the subject and not a lot has changed in some ways and in other areas a lot has changed

Plus I had no initial idea how I was going to do it ,yet I had Faith

I had Faith from previous experience of things Manifesting for me that the path would appear and it did

But what I didn't expect was to gain Passions for other subjects and expertise gained in applying my dream and then women seeking me out to gain advise on those subjects combined with the women I mentioned earlier who dispelled their dreams so easily and that caused me physical, visceral pain because I knew they each could have what they wanted and be doing what I was doing plus ....

The thought of supporting someone to go down a route of creating their own Brick n Mortar, time bound business was something "I Couldn't" be responsible for, anymore after living the reality of it.

I had supported people to do this but it didn't rest easy with me anymore. I wasn't aligned to it but despite all this I still needed a bit of a rude awakening to see what my own path was morphing into.

Each day I would try to carve out what I would call 'laptop time' to work on creating my courses in those 'Tiny Pockets of Time' but always being in a glass bubble as it were I was always visible and accessible to everyone and anyone walking by and some well meaning people just wanted to come in for a chat and see how I was getting on or while away their time and some blatantly would seek me out for free business advise I felt that they would (with all their objections) never implement and I started to get more and more frustrated as my own dreams seemed to get further and further away until ....

One fateful day I finally got the message the Universe was trying to send me

I had an unexpected visit from some complete strangers one Saturday afternoon (just as I got my laptop out). They purchased some items and placed some orders to be collected on their next visit to the area and just as they were leaving one of the party very quietly mentioned they had a Facebook page and were starting a craft business.

I like supporting other businesses so asked for the name so I could follow and share the page etc.

The next day they started messaging me multiple times asking for advise for their page.

I was having some down time with my partner so I said I would allocate sometime the following morning before starting my orders and message them my thoughts and advise

In reality I took all day and I didn't work on any orders. I had had no customers or orders and made no money. Frustrated and annoyed with myself I decided I would shut up shop for the day and go home early but just as I stood I had another visitor who I briefly knew who was in a crossroads as they had been laid off due to Covid and asked should they seek another job or go full-time in their business?

Over an hour later and now way passed my closing time they left and I felt from their negative objections they were "NOT" going to follow any of the advise they had sought out


I sat honestly disillusioned and angry at myself for 'not' making myself a priority and focusing on my own income producing tasks

Then I saw I had received the most grateful, kind message from the lady I had spent all day helping

It floored me.

It floored me enough to actually sit and reflect on my actions of the day and I saw how much I had actually enjoyed helping her and if I took away my own mental pressure of "I should be making money, I'm not making any money doing this" I had had one of the most pleasurable days I had had in months and I also realised with my own experiences in recent years to learn subjects and tactics to improve my own business I had been able to impart them on to her

She was me 5 Years ago !!

When I started my business with just a Facebook page I didn't really know anything about Social Media Marketing but I did acknowledge what an amazing asset it was and should be utilised

I had no Marketing Experience but now I had become Passionate about Internet and Social Media Marketing.

I had invested in courses for Marketing and business and how to build a business on Etsy. Heck I had even gone from a Facebook page to a physical business with no knowledge in business

I just invested in other people who were 5, 10, 20 years plus in front of me and Trusted the Universe

Funny enough in some case by purchasing their Online Courses on the subject and now I was imparting that on to others

And that was when the lightbulb finally went on and I honestly felt I heard the Universe sing "Hallelujah" 🙌 by George she's finally got it.

I saw how I had actually gotten good at this stuff. Or at least a lot better than someone who is where I was 5 years ago but I must, must stop giving the goodies away for free.

Now I was also Passionate helping all these Woman who were passing themselves and their skills off to believe that it was possible for them and they weren't to old

On that day I started to change what I was working on in Secret that had felt like walking in mud and had hit roadblock after roadblock. From that second onwards everything just flowed and synchronicity after synchronicity showed up.

That Women I was then is not the Woman I Am today.

My Mission is so much clearer and so much deeper and my abilities in what I have learned and what I can impart to others who I was 5 years ago is so much stronger

Where before I just wanted to have a Location Free Business Building Online Courses and not be landlocked has turned into Service

Serving others to see how incredible this Era is for building a Passion Based Business Online based around the things You Love is possible for everyone and age is more and more irrelevant.

Especially as we are all living longer and longer and now I Am Passionate about Teaching People how to create automated Online Businesses that generate Multiple Income Streams 24/7, 365 so people don't have to worry about retirement.

Retire on Their terms and even retire early from paid employment to 'Wake UP Happy, Doing What They Love and Loving What They Do' as I see more and more people having to work passed retirement age for financial reasons and not being able to enjoy retirement and live on their terms and that causes me pain and makes me sad but also motivates me now

Talking of that women who knew what she wanted to do but didn't know how

The Universe also presented me with the person and the Vehicle to learn how to create those automated 24/7 systems and course etc and that person is the same person who said "The Person You Came to Serve is the Person You Were 5 Years Ago" and the system is his Software and I learned "HOW" via his Training "One Funnel Away"

Never underestimate the skills you have acquired over the last 5 years. Ten, 20, 30 etc and or the things you think are just things you love to do or are Passionate about and never underestimate the Power of The Universe to support you in your desires ...

After all .. it was the Universe who put those desires there in the first place and ...
