Recently, I was reminded while listening to a podcast, I heard a comment that stopped me in my tracks despite the speaker saying it so casually

“We only go into the black because of Black Friday.”

The speaker went on to explain that 90% of their entire year’s income came from Black Friday.

And as I mentally revisited it later, something inside me tightened.

That comment scared the life out of me — because I realised…I could relate."

Black Friday is one day. Technically one month. But still… month 11 of 12.

Imagine operating in the red for 10+ months, hoping one promotional window will sustain everything.

To me, that screams vulnerability, not freedom.

And freedom — time, location, financial, emotional — is my north star..

Years ago, when I ran a brick-and-mortar business, I lived the exact same cycle.

Finally becoming an entrepreneur in my 50s felt like a dream… But the truth?

I was landlocked. Trading time for money. And completely at the mercy of seasonal sales.

Christmas orders began in August, and from then until Christmas Eve, I lived in a blur:

😫 5am–11pm workdays

😫 Wrapping, packing, delivering

😫 Customer messages

😫Etsy uploads

😫Social media

🥲 Seven days a week

By 4pm on Christmas Eve, all I wanted was to collapse in a dark room.

And that Christmas income had to carry me through January, February, March…the slow winter months.

The opposite of freedom.

Somewhere inside that chaos, a seed was planted.

I remembered something Bob Proctor said:

“Successful people create multiple streams of income.”

But growing up, the only “multiple stream” I ever saw was someone taking a second job because the first one didn’t cover the bills — not creating wealth, but survival.

And then came the moment that changed me.

I overheard a cheerful, kind supermarket worker explaining that her cat needed a £1,000 vet treatment that insurance wouldn’t cover.

She said, with a smile: “It’s okay — I’ll just do more overtime and look for another job.”

The same day, I heard of a woman in her seventies working a job she hated because she couldn’t afford to retire.

It broke my heart — and it lit a fire under me.

Because I knew I wanted to help women, especially women over 40, build income freedom.

To retire with joy, not fear. To work because they want to, not because they have to. To create income streams that flow — even while living, loving, travelling, healing, becoming.

Over the years, I studied four powerful methods that are proven to build freedom:

And at the same time, I realised the deeper truth inside each woman’s journey:

🌟 Gratitude

🌟 Responsibility

🌟 Experience

🌟 Aligned Action

🌟 Transformation

Those five pillars became The G.R.E.A.T Formula™ — and together with the four external methods I learned, they evolved into:

A pathway to build multiple streams of income, multiple layers of freedom, and a life of alignment — not burnout..

I’m building this in real time. Growing as I grow. Implementing as I implement. Learning while I learn. Teaching as I rise.
