I was listening to a podcast the other day and it got me thinking

The interviewee was explaining how they used to be a Franchisee but decided they wanted to create something of their own

Then they talked about how when the landscape changed in recent times many Franchises folded leaving lots of people who invested everything with nothing

In many quarters becoming a Franchisee is looked upon more favourably than say something like Network Marketing which is commonly misunderstood

But people are not always fully aware of the reality of what being a Franchise involves so it inspired me to write this week's newsletter

If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to have my own business, but I don’t have the time, tech skills, or money to start from scratch,” you’re not alone.

Many women over 40 feel stuck between wanting more and not knowing how to get started — especially when the online world feels overwhelming and the traditional business world feels… impossible.

Network Marketing: You get to build your own brand. Use your voice. Share your story. Show up as you. (Even if “you” is in pajamas, working around the kids, your 9–5 or both.)

3. Time Freedom

Franchise: You’re often land locked in to long hours, employees, and managing a physical location with no Location Freedom and take it from someone who had a Brick n Mortar. You don’t want that route. Especially in this day and age.

Network Marketing: You work anytime, anywhere — often in pockets of time around your life. No storefront. No office. No employees and usually a beautiful pre-built website from day one and a Fabulous support network and Training with a community cheering for your success at every level and actively encourage you to get as High as you want to go

4. Scalability + Residual Income

Franchise: Your income depends on your time or the people you hire. Growth = more stress.

Network Marketing: You can build residual income and scalable systems — meaning your income isn’t limited to how many hours you work regardless of where you are on the Network and there is no cap
